新加坡前總理李光耀逝世，馬英九總統今天(24日)搭乘華航特別專機前往新加坡出席新加坡總統府內的私人喪禮。對此，立法院長王金平表示贊同，並認為馬總統能順利前往新加坡弔唁是台灣重視新加坡實質外交的展現，也是「非常重要且需要的事」。
